Transfer of Medical Records

For patients who have joined us from Colne Family Doctors, the work to transfer your medical records to The Pendle Medical Partnership will begin this afternoon.
From 1pm today, the Colne Family Doctors computer system will close, and all the patient records will not be available to us to view whilst the transfer takes place. Without your medical records we will not be able to see your medical history, or see any medication you may be taking. We will therefore be providing an emergency service only for this group of patients this afternoon.
If everything goes to plan, the transfer will be completed overnight, and when we open at 8am on Friday morning we will be able to see all our patient records without any problems. Fingers crossed! We will have people from our IT team working in the practice to help us should anything not be quite right.
If you do need care urgently this afternoon, please do not hesitate to contact the surgery.
